Today I taught Japanese culture to the students at St Margaret’s.

My team made fukuwarai. I made the piece from Japanese washi.

Some of the children had been to Japan. I was happy to have fun interacting with the children.

Christmas is a big event in Australia. A Christmas sweets competition was held at St. Margaret’s.

All the works were colorful and original. The students gave us sweets. It was very tasty.

Hello! Today, my host mother made “tonkatsu” for me. It’s so delicious!

My family was pouring chili sauce on tonkatsu. It’s very spicy like wasabi.

My host mother told that they would take me to a movie theater. I’m looking forward to going. Thank you for reading.

We enjoy eating lunch with my buddy every day. We talk about various things.

For example, about Japan, Australia, our school life, our family and our hobbies.

They are really nice to us and bright and energetic. They give me energy. They also make me have fun.

So I really like morning tea time and lunch time. I’m so sad that I won’t be able to meet them soon.

But tomorrow I will have chances to say thank you and goodbye. Oh, not goodbye. I’ll say see you again.

Today I had a great time with my host family.

First, we went swimming in my host family’s pool. The pool is deep, so I jumped and fell a lot.

After dinner, they showed me their travel memories. Surprisingly, they had finished driving around Australia. The view is so good!

If I have a chance to go anywhere in Australia, I would like to go to a natural place.

Today I took music and English classes. We all worked together to create one piece of music.

At noon, I was able to watch a guitar and singing recital. After school, I went to central Brisbane with my host family.

We went to a park with artificial pool, rode a Ferris wheel, and ate dinner while looking at the night view.

I ate ice cream on the way home.

It was difficult to teach in English, but I was happy that everyone enjoyed it.

After school, I went to shopping with my host mother. The market was cute because it was decorated for Christmas.
