Today I bought a lot of snacks.
I was able to get snacks that is not available in Japan.
I watched TV with my host sisters.
It was very fun.

Today, I woke up at 5 a.m. to watch Emma’s hockey practice.
It was so much fun and really interesting!
I even thought I’d like to try it myself someday.
After Emma’s hockey finished, we went to eat açaí.
I love açaí, so I was really happy to try the real thing here!
It was so delicious and sweet.
When we got home, I went into the garden with the dog to look for flowers to press.
My host mother and father told me I could pick any flowers I liked, so I picked many different kinds and made pressed flowers together with them.
Since the garden is so big, we had lunch outside and looked for birds with my host father.
We even found a kookaburra!!!
Then I played a sport called pickleball with my host father.
It’s a bit like table tennis and badminton, but also different and a bit tricky.
I was really happy when he told me I was a good player.!
For dinner, I made dumplings 🥟 with Emma, my host father, and my host mother.
We had a fun contest to see who could make the best ones, and everyone said they loved the dumplings!
After dinner, we all watched Paddington together.
I was able to tell them it was a really good movie!

This morning, I watched a rugby game.
There were many of my host sister friends,
and I was happy to talk about Japanese sports with them.
In the afternoon, I went to see a professional football game.
It was really powerful and exciting.
The people sitting next to me explained the rules, and I thought they were very kind.
