Today I went mountain climbing and shopping with my host family. The mountain climbing was easier than I expected as the path was well maintained, but today it was raining and the path was muddy, making it a little difficult to climb. However, the scenery was so beautiful that I took lots of photos. I bought some souvenirs while shopping. There were lots of cookies and small items, and I had never seen anything like them before, so it was a lot of fun.

I went to the mall today. I bought some clothes. I was happy because the shop staff greeted me with “Kia ora.” I wanted to take pictures with a friend at the photo booth, but it said that if you pay with cash, you don’t get change back, which annoyed me, so I didn’t do it. For lunch, I had McDonald’s. The cheeseburger was delicious and tasted exactly the same as in Japan. For dessert, I ordered a chocolate soft serve, but it turned out the chocolate was just hardened on the outside. It didn’t taste good at all.

Today was a lazy day so I woke up late. After breakfast, I went to a shopping mall called Te Awa. I went to an Asian supermarket nearby and bought sweets. I bought it because I wanted my host family and buddy to try it. We ate McDonald’s for lunch. And we also ate soft serve ice cream. The host mother made udon for dinner. It was different from how to make it in Japan, but it was very delicious. And the host mother made various kinds of cakes today, so I ate that too. There were chocolate brownies, lemon cake, and banana cake. It was very delicious!

Today I drew a picture of a cat. My host family was pleased. We were happy too. I wanted to make them happy again.

Today I went to a shopping mall in Hamilton City. After buying souvenirs for my family, I bought a drink at Starbucks. After returning home, I did the homework of drawing a picture of a pet cat with the homework from the host family, and asked my family a lot of questions. It was hectic in the morning, but it was fun. I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s school.

I went shopping today. I went to supermarkets and city centers to find lots of sweets and souvenirs with my host family and my friend from China who is home stay. And I went shopping for dinner today. Today’s dinner, I made dumplings to thank you. I wrapped dumplings with my host mother and host father and fried them with my friends. Everyone told me that dumplings are delicious. I was happy. After dinner, I went to the night market with the host father. It was fun to see a lot of food on sale. I had beef pie, tapioca juice, and chocolate strawberries. Since it was after dinner, I couldn’t eat much, but I had a lot of fun. I only have three days left to stay in New Zealand, so I will do my best to achieve my goal while enjoying it.

Today, I went to a shopping mall. At lunchtime, I ate a hamburger. It was delicious and I had a good time. On the way back, I saw a big rainbow in the sky. It was very beautiful and made me happy.

I went to shopping mall “The Base” with host family. It is the biggest mall in Hamilton. I looked around the stores. I bought chocolate and ice creams. The flavor is salt caramel. It was very yummy! I want to go again someday.

Today, I went shopping and to Play-land with my host family. I bought souvenirs. In the Play-land, we did trampolining etc.

Today I first went shopping for souvenirs, then went to a playland. The playland’s name had “ninja” in it, and there were ninjas everywhere. It was funny and interesting.

Today I had pancakes and went shopping. I bought Ariana Grande’s perfume, some soap, and a popular toothpaste. I had lunch at McDonald’s. There were many menu items that don’t exist in Japan, and I was excited. In the evening, I made Japanese udon with my friend for my host family. I was really happy because they enjoyed it.

Today, we went to shopping mall. I bought New Zealand banknote keychains, Ariana Grande perfume. Also, I bought a spray for hair and body. I ate the hamburger my host sister bought for me. I made Udon for dinner. It was difficult to make it. I was glad that host family said it was delicious.
