LunchTimeに行われたFarewell Partyでは１人ずつ修了証をいただき、一緒に過ごしてきたバディに感謝の気持ちを伝え、楽しい時間を過ごしました。

Today, we had a farewell party. In the morning, my buddy gave me hot cocoa and some chocolate. It made me feel very warm and happy.
During break time, I taught my buddy the Japanese katakana “エ”. She said it looked like the letter “I”. I thought it was interesting because I had never thought about it that way.
At the farewell party, we sang a song from Frozen and exchanged letters. I am really happy that I met such a kind buddy and so many nice friends. I still have one more day here, but I cried a lot today.
After school, my buddy really wanted me to try Gong cha in New Zealand, so she ran to buy it for me. I got a matcha drink. The size was very big, so it was hard to finish, but it was really good!
After I went home, I went to my host sister’s school playground. There were so many fun playground equipment, and I had a great time there. After dinner, I gave my host family my letters. I started to feel that my time here is really coming to an end, and I felt sad.
I want to enjoy my last day and make it a special day.（H.O）

There was a farewell party at lunchtime today, and I attended it with my buddy. I was nervous about giving the closing remarks, but I’m glad it went well. The old me would have hated being in front of people, but this time I wasn’t nearly as nervous. I felt a sense of accomplishment, thinking this was an area where I’d grown during the study tour. I received a certificate of completion and a school pin from the school, and a letter from my buddy. It made me feel that all my hard work had been worth it. I also gave my buddy and classmates some souvenirs from Japan. When I gave them Sanrio stuffed animal keychains and marker pens, everyone was so happy, which made me happy too. In the evening, after taking a bath, I looked out the window and saw a sky stretching out in beautiful colors. Until yesterday, it hadn’t really sunk in that the study tour was ending, but today, after the party, I finally felt that I was really going back to Japan. Tomorrow will be the last day I get to see my friends from school, so I want to express my gratitude to them and say goodbye.（M.M）

I received my school’s school emblem at a school party, and I was very happy to have my buddy wear it. I felt accepted as a member of the school. At night, my roommate and I cooked Japanese food, and I made sushi, rice balls, and pickled soup stock. It was awkward because I wasn’t used to it, but people said it was delicious and I wanted to be able to serve it to Japanese families as well. I have school tomorrow, but I’m going to have fun.（F.O）

I played dodgeball from the first period today. I didn’t understand the rules well, but when I tried to imitate, I was able to contribute. We had a farewell party at noon. We all sang “Let It Go”, but I was a little troubled because I couldn’t remember the lyrics. But everyone listened carefully, so it was worth the preparation. I gave Buddy the souvenirs and letters I had prepared. I was happy that you were very happy. I was moved by some of my other friends who were crying. I ate chicken as a snack after I got home. I packed up and had dinner. It was so delicious that I ate a lot. It was sad to think that it was the last dinner with the host family.（M.I）

Today, we had our last party at school. At the party, we received certificates of completion and pins. My buddy gave me a letter and a gift. I was very happy!
Tomorrow will be the last day I can see my buddy, so I feel very sad, but I will do my best!In the fifth lesson, we played lacrosse in PE class. It was difficult to understand the rules, but it was a lot of fun!
For dinner, I made Japanese food. It was difficult because the kitchen was different from the one at home, but I was able to make it delicious! My host family also said it was delicious, so I was very happy.
After that, I drew pictures with my host sister. I drew picture of New Zealand yesterday, so today I drew a picture of Japan.I will do my best for the remaining two days!（N.I）

Today, we had a farewell party. My buddy gave me a present and a letter. I was very happy and thankful for their kindness. I was happy to spend time with my buddy.
I could only spend a short time with my buddy, but they welcomed me very warmly. I was very happy to meet them and get to know them.
Today is my last day with my host family. I want to spend this time carefully and talk with them a lot. I also want to make many good memories with them before I go home.（R.K）

We had a farewell party at school today. So we performed a song. The students praised me very much. After that, I exchanged gifts with my buddy. Buddy gave me a lot of presents. I was very happy that all of them were my favorite things. There were many things that didn’t go well because the language was different from Buddy, but I was able to get along very well because he spoke to me very kindly and snuggled with me. It’s very sad to say goodbye tomorrow, but I want to cherish this experience and memories. I also asked everyone in the class to write a letter. I had a very happy time with all the really good people. And today was my last night with my host family. I talked more than usual. He was also very happy to see the letter I gave to my host family. Today, we had a farewell party at school. I was sad because I will say goodbye to my buddy soon, but I was happy that she was happy to receive the souvenirs from Japan.
Also, I will say goodbye to my host family tomorrow morning, so my friends and I wrote letters and gave them to our host families. I am glad that I was able to study abroad safely because many people helped me in an environment that was very different from Japan.
I will be at the airport the day after tomorrow, so I want to enjoy my last day tomorrow!(T.S)
