Today is the first day of school and I met an international student. They took us to school and had lunch together. Kurumi showed me around. She is from Fukuoka. Rena had lunch together. I had a good time because I talked to her a lot. She’s from Chili , so she taught me how to say hello in Spanish. After school, I watched Wednesday with my host sister Samantha (Sam). Sam likes to watching the drama and anime. I’ve never seen that before, so I’m happy to be able to see that.

Today I went to a high school and looked around. It was bigger than my school, so I was surprised. I was happy to talk with local students.

Today, I went to school. There is a welcome party. I knew about Maori. We were taught about the school by student leaders. After school, I walk to around the house with my host mother and Huiwon.

I went to Hamilton Girls High School today. A welcome party was held, and then the school was introduced by the school leaders. I was able to talk a lot with my host family in the car on my way home.l enjoyed it.

Today, I went to Hamilton girls high school. There was a welcome ceremony. I talked a lot with my special buddy and we became friends. After school, we went for a walk with my host mother.

This morning, I was woken up by the cat at my homestay because last night it came into my room and slept with me. I’ve been woken up by the sound of chickens crowing before, but it was the first time I’d been woken up by a cat meowing, so it was a new experience for me. After school, I went with my host father to watch my granddaughter play basketball. I was surprised to see that the gymnasium was bigger than in Japan. However, I was even more surprised when I learned that the gymnasium was one of the smaller ones in New Zealand.

Today, I taught my host family how to fold origami.
They enjoyed making paper cranes and stars.
I was happy to share Japanese culture with them.

I went to Hamilton Girls High School. The school is very large. Also, I fold paper with host sister. We fold Shuriken, crane and heart. It was so fun!

Today, after school, I fed chickens and ducks with my host father. And we also took chicken eggs. In addition, the host father introduced the vegetables, fruits, and plants he grows. He also gave me oranges and lemons. I had a lot of fun. After dinner, I watched the news while eating apples. The way of introducing the weather was different from Japan, so it was very fresh. After that, we talked about each other’s Country of origin, family, favorite things, etc. with our host mother and host father. We talked while eating ice cream and snack.There were some parts that were not conveyed well, but it was fun to talk a lot. And I was very happy to get to teer about the host family.

Today, I went to Hamilton girls high school. I talked with the high school students. I was surprised when everyone talk to me. It’s a good school. After coming home, I come into contact with many animals. For example, sheep, cat, cows, rabbit, chicken and Guinea pigs.
