Hamilton Girls’High Schoolへ到着し、留学生による校内ツアーで学校を見て回りました。

一緒に学校生活を送るバディと対面し、一緒に初めての授業を受けました。

また、ホームステイでお世話になるファミリーとも対面し、笑顔でコミュニケーションをとっていました。

【8月20日の日記】

Today, I played lots of sports with my host family’s kids, including basketball, volleyball, and table tennis. I also gave my host family some snacks and sushi-shaped erasers as gifts. I was really happy that they were interested in them!
I also got to feed their pets. There were lots of different animals, including a very friendly horse and a greedy little rabbit. The chickens were pretty scary😅（C.F）

Today was my first day in New zealand.　
in school, many people said hallo！school is very big. I was surprised. after school we play the garden and I fed the sheep milk.（N.I）

I arrived in New Zealand today and went to school and my host family’s house for the first time. English didn’t come out faster than I thought, so it was hard to talk to my buddy. There were chickens and ducks in the host family’s house, and I fed them sandwiches. He came to me a lot and it was cute.（M.M）

Today, I met my host family for the first time.They welcomed me with warm hugs, and I felt very happy.After that we talked a lot about each other and our countries in the car. I hope we can become closer during my stay.（R.K）

Today, a Japanese student showed us around the school. I was surprised because the school was very big. After that, I met my buddy and had some classes.
After that, I met my host family. We had dinner and played table tennis together. I had a lot of fun!（T.S）

Today, I was nervous because it was my first time meeting everyone. However, I tried to think about what I wanted to say and put it into English. I also tried to smile when talking to them. Because of this, I was able to get along with them well.
In my first class, we made a boat that would not sink easily. While making the boat, I was able to work together with my buddy and other students.（K.N）

I fed the chickens and ducks. I was amazed by the incredible nature. Today was my host father’s brother’s birthday, and we celebrated with cake. It was a lot of fun, and the food was delicious. The rice was different from the rice in Japan. It was a great experience.（M.I）

Today was my first day in New Zealand. I was excited and a little nervous.

At the airport, many things were new to me. I saw many different things, and I thought it was interesting. I also ate food on the plane. The food was different from the food I usually eat, so it was fun to try it.

I had a class with my buddy. The class was difficult for me, but I tried my best. I could talk with my buddy in English, so I was happy. Sometimes I did not understand the English, but I tried to communicate.

After school, I met my host family for the first time. I was very nervous before I met them. But they were very kind to me, and I started to feel better. I was nervous, but I was also excited and happy.

Today was a long day, but I had a lot of new experiences. I want to talk more with my buddy and host family tomorrow. I am looking forward to tomorrow!（H.O）
