Hamilton Girls’High Schoolへ到着し、留学生による校内ツアーで学校を見て回りました。

一緒に学校生活を送るバディと対面し、一緒に初めての授業を受けました。

また、ホームステイでお世話になるファミリーとも対面し、笑顔でコミュニケーションをとっていました。

【8月20日の日記】

Today, I played lots of sports with my host family’s kids, including basketball, volleyball, and table tennis. I also gave my host family some snacks and sushi-shaped erasers as gifts. I was really happy that they were interested in them!
I also got to feed their pets. There were lots of different animals, including a very friendly horse and a greedy little rabbit. The chickens were pretty scary😅（C.F）

Today was my first day in New Zealand. I was excited and a little nervous.

At the airport, many things were new to me. I saw many different things, and I thought it was interesting. I also ate food on the plane. The food was different from the food I usually eat, so it was fun to try it.

I had a class with my buddy. The class was difficult for me, but I tried my best. I could talk with my buddy in English, so I was happy. Sometimes I did not understand the English, but I tried to communicate.

After school, I met my host family for the first time. I was very nervous before I met them. But they were very kind to me, and I started to feel better. I was nervous, but I was also excited and happy.

Today was a long day, but I had a lot of new experiences. I want to talk more with my buddy and host family tomorrow. I am looking forward to tomorrow!（H.O）
