休日はホストファミリーとの時間を過ごしています。

Today was my third day of studying abroad.
In the morning, I could see a cat. I was very happy! We made chicken burgers together. After that, we went to Hamilton Gardens. There were many gardens with plants from different countries. I liked the moving tree in the fantasy area. I also learned that sweet potato is called Kumara in Maui.
In the afternoon, we went to Main Street and went shopping. I bought a T-shirt with a New Zealand logo on it.
At night, I ate udon noodles with lamb. It was very delicious.It was a fun day!（H.O）

Today, my host family drove me to the shopping mall, and my roommate and I went shopping just the two of us. We bought souvenirs for my family and friends back in Japan, as well as some for myself. I bought a kiwi stuffed animal, and I was surprised when I pressed it and it started singing the haka. I also really liked the bracelet I bought for myself. I was a little nervous about going just the two of us, but I’m glad we had such a good time.（M.M）

Today, I went to buy a meat pie, a popular food in New Zealand, with my host father and host brother. It was my first time eating one, and it was very delicious! I want to make it in Japan, too. I’ll do my best tomorrow, and I’ll enjoy it too!（T.S）

Today I had fun going out with my host’s parents and they introduced me to a famous waterfall in the area. The waterfall was created by a volcano and is so powerful that it is rarely seen in Japan. Also, I was taken to a park by the sea, and the fish and chips at the shop there was really delicious.（F.O）

Today, I went to watch my host sister’s netball game and cheered for her. After the game, I went shopping with my host mother and host sister.
At the store, the shelves were divided into sections like A, B, and C. When I asked where a product was, they told me, “It’s in section A.” In Japan, store staff often take you to the place where the product is, and stores are not usually divided into sections like this. I thought it was interesting to see the difference between Japan and New Zealand.（K.N）

Today, my roommate and I went shopping with my host family. Unlike Japan, it was expensive. But there were a lot of things I saw for the first time and it was very fun.（M.I）

Today, we first went to see a waterfall. The waterfall was very big and cool. There were also Japanese exchange students . Next, we went to see the ocean. I saw people skydiving over the ocean, and it looked fun! Finally, we went to eat fish and chips. They were very crispy and delicious. I also had some ice cream. Today, I was able to experience lots ofbeautiful nature.（N.I）

Today, I made hand-rolled sushi with my host father. I was very surprised when I told the host family about Setsubun in Japan. I was very happy to eat other meat pies that I had been longing for.（C.F）
