8月8日（土）、9日（日）

この二日間は、ホストファミリーと過ごしました。

生徒はどのような休日を過ごしたのでしょうか。

【8月8日、9日の日記】

I went on a picnic with my host family and their friend.

The name of the park we went is New Farm Park.We ate snacks and enjoyed talking.

It was so fun. (M.M)

Today, I went to south bank with my host familiy and host sister’s friend.

I went to various shops and did some shopping. I also rode a ferry for the first time.

I saw many buildings from the ferry, and it was very beautiful.　（A.M）

I went to Forest and Sea with my host mother.

I walked a lot. so it was good exercise.

After that, I rode in a cute boat and saw a lot of wonderful scenery .

It was a fulfilling day. (Y.N)

I ate ice cream while walking the dog.

In the afternoon, I went to a shopping mall.

Because I had never seen it before, I was surprised to see an escalator that was more like a slope than stairs.

In the evening, I ate lasagna and watched a movie with Miyuki. (M.T)

Today’s morning, I went to watch basketball match of host brother.

And I went to “World movie” It is like a “Universal studios Japan”.

Ellie didn’t go to there because she have to study for exam. I was so sad. I ate churro and ice cream.
In night, I ate pizza and watched the movie.

Today is very very good day I was happy. (S.N)

Today, I watched “The Boy and the Heron” with my host family.

While everyone else without me watched with English subtitles, they played the audio in Japanese for me. It’s a very kind gesture.

I also played with squishies toys with Freja. It was interesting to see that items popular in Japan are popular in Australia, too.

As I played soccer and chatted with people meeting for the first time, I learned a different culture.

At the shopping mall, I noticed the children moving around freely yet they would come back immediately whenever their mother called them. It’s not the scene often seen in Japan. 

I’m looking forward to tomorrow as well.（M.T)

Today was the 6th day of my homestay. I was surprised that time passes so quickly.

Today I served homemade sushi to my host family. I was happy that everyone enjoyed it!

I also rode a horse.
