Today we arrived in Australia and did some sightseeing in Brisbane!

First, we went to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. There are lots of koalas and kangaroos there.

We fed kangaroos and brushed them gently.

Next, we went to the Queen Street Mall. This mall is so big.

I found Japanese shops like “UNIQLO” and “DAISO”. We enjoyed shopping.

Finally, we visited “St. Margaret Anglican Girls School”. This school is very big and has many classrooms.

Also, we can see the panoramic view of Brisbane city. It is so beautiful.

Then we went to meet our host family. I was very nervous before meeting them.

But they are very friendly, so I felt relaxed.

I’m looking forward to meeting my friend at school tomorrow!

By the way, have you heard of kangaroo jerky? Surprisingly, you can buy kangaroo meat in Australia.

I’m thinking of getting it as a souvenir from Japan.
